Depending on the manufacturer’s claim, new insecticidal products to be submitted for WHO prequalification listing will be tested in accordance with WHOPES guidelines for efficacy in Phase 1 laboratory studies and if they meet the WHOPES criteria for efficacy, testing will proceed to Phase 2 and subsequently Phase 3 studies. All the studies can be done at CREC/LSHTM Facility.
